Immerse yourself into the night and watch the Tasmanian Devil enjoy their dinner all while you enjoy some Tasmanian wine and nibbles.  This tour operates after our sanctuary closes to the general public.  

Devils in the Dark tour is available for ages 6 and above.  Due to the nature of the tour, children under 6 may find the devils eating dinner distressing, unfortunately, the facility does not offer a quiet area for children if they become restless..

Child prices are from 6-15yrs.

Viewing facility is full enclosed away from weather elements, tour guests are shuttled by bus through the park, minimum walking is required.

Due to seasonal changes in daylight time particularly during summer in Tasmania, the tour will operate in the later evening .

This tour is the Ultimate wildlife encounter tour, guided for 1hr 30mins 

You are guided through the park by our experienced keepers, enjoying as many wildlife encounters as possible, you will make enrichment, play toys for the animals, interact with them and learn about them.

Animals encountered depends on the season and availability. But generally Tasmanian devils, Quolls, possums, birds, echidnas, sugar gliders, blue tongue lizards, wombats, and occasionally any hand raised or orphaned animals in care.

Guided tour by our knowledgeable keepers for 1hr 30mins, amazing hands-on wildlife encounters, a maximum of 4 people per session. Pre-bookings are essential.

These little devils are cheeky and adorable. You'll have the opportunity to get up close and pat them in their natural setting.   This encounter operates for 15 mins allowing plenty of opportunities for videos and photo's.

Devils size can differ depending on time of year.

Enter the wombats home where you will be able to pat them and give them a bum scratch (their favourite)

Spend 15 minutes with our Sugar Gliders. Allow them to climb on you and they may even feed from your hand

Sit and observe the echidna feeding with its super long 12cm sticky tongue for 15mins. Depending on the animal’s behaviour you can pat the quills.

Join the Zookeepers on their early morning Wombat Walk as they give all our wombats their breakfast. Our wombats love morning bum scratches and there will be a opportunities to interact with them.

Our wombats at Nature World are part of a collaborative conservation initiative where we rehabilitate and release wombats back to the wild. By coming on this Wombat Walk you are helping us help wombats.
